The NavEdt command is an easy editor to learn. It allows you to navigate through the source member, changing the text, and recording the change date against each line.

Simple commands allow scrolling vertically and horizontally through the source, copying, moving, deleting and inserting one or many lines at a time.

Scanning for strings forward or backward, starting with the first, last or all occurrences. Scanning in a range of columns,  in case sensitive or not.

The current member details, no of records, and current window columns are displayed at the top of the screen.

The source line number may be toggled with the source  line  change date. The date is shown in high intensity.

Previous commands may be repeated, simple access to a command entry screen, plus ongoing enhancements and features.
