A Template is the layout through which you view the fields in each record of a file.

NAVIDATA builds an initial Template over a file, using the database definition of the file. This Template provides column headings for multiple record mode; and field descriptions for single record mode.

These Templates are able to be modified, changing:
> Column Headings
> Column Width for multiple record display
> Field Descriptions
> Field display sequence across and down screen
> Exclude fields from display
> Display only portions of fields (Add new fields)
